She nodded “I understand what your saying, I’m sorry then, I didn’t mean to come off that way I just wanted to meet everyone but the accusing fact was unkind.” Her eyes were filled with tears Adam’s words stung so badly it hurts. “Well I only came down here since Belle told me I wasn’t allowed to see her and she wouldn’t tell me and now I know why.” She walks out of the castle crying and thinks to herself “I’ve lost someone that means so much to me..”
Adam nodded and softened his face in false sympathy. Truth be told, he was secretly relishing in her pain. “Non, I forgive you. You should be more careful, Aurora. Times are very hard nowadays for everyone. It isn’t like it used to be,” he said, “Perhaps when this has all been settled, you could return to our court. But until then I don’t wish to put my family into any more than it needs to be in, especially not my wife. I’m sure you could understand that?” He walked a bit of the ways with her to the door, acting as sympathetic and kind to the blonde as he could. At the shutting of the castle doors, he grinned and chuckled darkly to himself, “This calls for a drink.”
